Suitcasing is an unprincipled business practice in which companies who are not exhibiting gain access to an event by obtaining event credentials (attendee badge, expo-only badge etc.) and then solicit business in the aisles or other public spaces used for the conference. Please note that while all meeting attendees are invited to the exhibit floor, any attendee who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or any company’s booth will be asked to leave immediately.

The meeting is business casual. Some people will wear blue jeans. Dress up a bit for Thursday night’s gala dinner; a theme will be announced closer to the event.

Nearby Dining by Distance: Nearby Entertainment: The Ogden Museum of Art is a x minute walk from the hotel. The french quarter is within walking distance. Add some other ideas– offering a WW2 Museum tour on Friday but we could have that as a suggestion as well.

Nearby Shopping: The Riverwalk Outlet is within walking distance from the hotel and convention center. Or, stroll around the French Quarter for a variety of shops and art galleries. Fleurty Girl and Dirty Coast are good local shops to pick up souvenirs.

Getting Around: If you’d like to explore the city by streetcar, we recommend downloading the Le Pass app. You can purchase a “Jazzy Pass” for $3.00 for one day, $8.00 for three days, and $15.00 for seven days – this gets you unlimited rides on the streetcars and buses.

Local Junk Food: Your best close Deep Dish pizza option is Lou Malnati’s. Gene and Judes (since 1946) is an authentic hotdog stand open late. Paradise Pup was featured on Diners Drive-In and Dives.

Your booth reservation fee includes the following:

  • Pipe & Drape
  • 7″ x 44″ ID Sign
