Emma Fick is a local New Orleans artist. She has published three illustrated books: Snippets of Serbia, in 2015; Snippets of New Orleans, in 2017; and Border Crossings: A Journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway, in 2022. Her current works are water colors and ink on paper. She’s also a custom jewelry maker!

Join Emma in a jewelry-making workshop! She will provide the pieces, the inspo, and the how-to. You provide your design and color sensibilities. You’ll get to take home your one-of-a-kind, ready-to-wear-earrings. The class will be held at The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Start your experience with a guided tour of The Arsenal of Democracy: The Herman and George R. Brown Salute to the Home Front to learn more about the events that brought the United States into the war that changed the world. Then, you will have the opportunity to handle artifacts from the Museum’s collection that give voice to the American experience in World War II. Finally, delve into the story of how the war was fought and won in either the Pacific or European theater as you explore the Campaigns of Courage pavilion with your private guide.
