Cooling – The Ins and Outs of It

We’ll talk about cooling in Roto and why it matters, that is how is affects the polymer and ultimately the quality of your part, from dimensions to strength. We’ll touch on the theory and then dive in to the practical.
We will demonstrate on the RotoRocket a part that experiences external cooling, look at the temperature profile and then we’ll compare it with a part that has been internally cooled. The cycle time reduction will impress the audience that they will spontaneously whoop.
The problem with the continuance of only external cooling is that we will remain the process of long cycle times. There’s no other way around it – to reduce cycle times we must start internal cooling.
