Anatomy of Losses in the Rotational Molding Process: A Cost Reduction Strategy

Przemysław Orlik

OREX ROTOMOULDING

The presentation is based on practical tests and does not promote specific machines, focusing instead on solutions for CAROUSEL and SHUTTLE machines. We will present the results of real-world tests on energy consumption, efficiency, and process optimization, with solutions designed to create more efficient production processes in rotational molding.

We will share practical ways to reduce costs while maintaining high quality, including optimizing process parameters and minimizing energy losses. We will also address machine safety in the event of power outages. After every conference presentation, we receive the same feedback – every company faces very similar challenges throughout the process, and we continuously implement new solutions aimed at improving the overall production workflow.

Participants will gain concrete ideas to implement in their facilities, a better understanding of areas for energy and material savings, and practical guidance on what works and what doesn’t – all backed by real test results.” Rotomolders will gain practical, real-world insights that help them better manage production processes and improve efficiency. They will learn concrete ways to reduce energy and material costs while maintaining high product quality. They will understand which solutions work in practice and which do not, helping them avoid trial-and-error in their own facilities. Additionally, they will receive guidance on machine safety, particularly in the event of power outages.
